AJAX image preloader
Very often we find ourselves in the need of showing a preloader bar until our server finishes a job. For example let’s take a search page. Our database it’s already huge and full of information and the visitor is searching for a very common string that will bring back many results. There’s a lot of work for that server and our visitor doesn’t knows that. He’s seeing a blank page that is there for too long maybe. He will start thinking that the page went blank and the results will never gonna show up. He’s gone. What do you do? I’ll tell you… You are losing visitors. A very good way of keeping that visitors on your page until the server finishes the job is by displaying a javascript image preloader. As it’s named it will preload some content. The page will display a friendly image of your choice and I recommend some Ajax loading images which are very stylish and so often used and searched on the web today.
